The Road Not Taken

I just found out today that Tommy Vance died recently. He was THE voice of Rock on the radio for me as a kid in the late 70’s and early 80’s as the presenter of “The Friday Rock Show” on Radio 1. I would record the show on my radio/cassette player.

Never has there been a more distinctive voice on British radio.
