I am tired.
I am sad.
I haven’t dreamt much lately, and what little I do, escapes me again.
“You’re a traveler,” Surfer dude said towards the end. “Stop working so hard on what you are doing here in Vancouver. Go away, try it in a new place.”
“A road trip?” I asked. “I went on one already a few weeks ago.”
“You went with a friend,” he corrected me. “Go on your own.”
I contemplated this at work on Friday.
And within minutes of closing down, I took the first bus I could board and headed off.
