On Saturday I went into central London to meet Muppet man have a drink and watch a bit of Live 8.
We were curious enough to wonder down to Hyde Park but we hit a wave of people also wondering down to catch a glimpse of something.
The whole park was caged off with Police and officals every few metres along the fence making sure no roge elements were going to get in without tickets.
Heard one geez, this tall slender black dude telling this poor 18 year old girl guarding the fence that he should be allowed in. That he paid enough tax money and that he should be allowed to sit on a small piece of grass.

Near the Marble Arch end you could hear the music alright. People were sitting on the pavement and grass areas trying to sneak a glimpse through the trees.
Me and Muppet saw some people in trees
watching the concert so we tried to get up a tree but it was fully booked.

We managed to climb halfway up a traffic light and got the amazing sight of a loud speaker.
We left excited and watched a few songs in a pub near Soho.

We were to meet some friends later and hooked up with coconutman. I think my hawaii shirt brought tear to his eye. Feeling homesick.
A swift few pints in Walkabout and off to Kings cross to meet the Czech chicks
and Brasilians.
We found them boozing a few bottles of Wine on some steps. I joined in and everybody were happy chappys.
£6 for entry and a soup in the Czech party. There was only one reason we had to attend this do.

Shit yeah. Me likes my Queen/Freddy but a Slovakian Freddy Mercury. Cause for celebration.
I wasn't sure whether he was singing in English but the Czechs assured me that he was.

Being in such a eurthoic state- after freddy and live 8- must have given me the push to pull one of the czech chicks.
Most of the night was spent 'getting to know her' at this party if you know what I mean.
However this tale doesn't have a happy ending. I had to go back to Muppet mans since no buses run at that time to my place and the Czech chick is an Au pair.

Arriving at Muppets at 5am I thought i'd sleep an eternaty the way I was feeling. I was knackered.
