Martin Parrott has helped me understand what a preposition is, tell me what problems learners of English have with them and then give me a mini test to make sure i know what they are.

Martin Parrott' has been bought be me, and read by me- its one huge mother of a book too- so that when I arrive at my teacher training course in Guadalajara I don't look like a total retard.
All I remember from school is verbs, adjectives and nouns. Not that I remember what they are. With this mighty fine book i can tell you what tense you are speaking and why you are speaking it, apparently.

I recommend it, theres probably other grammer books out there but this one is written by one of the main men in TEFL, MARTIN PARROTT!

AH HA. I have now read a methodology and grammer book. I am pleased with myself.
