We stayed in the Purple House, didn't spend much time there, but it was cool no less

Me and Neil went up to Cardiff last weekend to see my Uni mates. We found a hostel on the net. It's called "The Backpackers Hostel", and is a bright purple and yellow house about 3 minutes walk from central Cardiff. It was actually better than I would have imagined. Not for the quality of the room, but due to it having a bar, pool table, TV, internet and plenty of international people staying there.

However our weekend was far less focused on the pirple house than on having a good booze up with the mentalist squad. I.E, Ferg's, Harris Walsh, Ritch Buchannon, me and Natty.
We were at the Woodville about an hour after we arrived. Booze, a good chat, gosh i thought i'd gone back in time to my unemployed period in Cardiff which consisted of Woodville boozing, Sangria runs to Lydles and a bit of dubbing over the old
Rick arrived freshly kitted out in his black vest, chain and Aviaters. Guitar too. We got a few songs out of him, including the Baywatch theme song. We headed on to Cuba and then O'Neils. About 2am we got back to the hostel and chilled in our room. Next door were some crazy scotish girls, one who must have never heard of underwear or a belt (to hold her jeans up). I'm talking serious builder crack on display here, but who cares, shes a girl.
Anyway, after calling Tommy at 3am to demanding him to perform a few acts for us, we crashed out. Poor guy, he only hears from us when we call him early morning expecting one of his famous acts. Hes a genius.
If your going to Cardiff, I recommend the backpackers hostel. You can find it on www.hostelz.com We paid about £20 each for a bunk bed. The place is safe. You have to buzz to get into the hostel. Theres also a code for door leading to the rooms. Then you have the locks on your bedroom door.

They also hold your bags when you check out if you need them to. Very good.
