Stressed

People are crazy.
I spent the last two months of my job running around, working 60 hours a week while trying to move all my stuff out of DC. the whole time, I kept thinking, "I can't wait till I'm unemployed, I'll just sit around all day and watch VH1. It'll be great."

Of course, now that i'm home, I've stil beenl running around like crazy, trying to do everything I need to do before I leave: doctor's appointements, visits to friends in Minneapolis and New York, trying to find the best ticket, etc.

The good news: I bought the damned ticket. It cost more than I thought it would, and I have a 7-hour layover in the Sana Salvador airport, but the ticket is MINE! And, it's super-flexible: it's good for a year, and if I want to change the dates for only $25. Good for someone like me, whose only fixed idea about this trip is "well, I guess I'll head home when I run out of money..."

If you too want a flexible ticket (they're a dying breed), and you're under 26, check out STA, Yes, they're big and corporate and seemed bent on getting me to join a tour, but it was a good deal.
