Back in Argentina - San Juan

This is going to be a quick post…

I am back in Argentina. Yesterday was hellish. Over ten hours on the bike. My knees were starting to rebel towards the end. The Andes crossing was unnerving but I did it while I was fresh and enthusiastic. I made it back to Mendoza without incident. The last 2-3 hours to San Juan were horrific and I had to dig deep to find the concentration to get here. There was no option really because there is NO WHERE to stop in between and the road was like an oven.

I will write more details later as I relax in San Augustin after a measly 4.5 hr ride.

Give yourself a break and stop for a while and enjoy. This is always your mantra to others. Miles on the bike are not as important as your pleasure in the exposure to amazing things. You will always have time in the future to do more. Weather is going to be 60 today. What a change! Vanessa is being rained on in Canada because a warm trend went through. I hope they get some boarding in. They left with all the gear and left me with the cat. Only another week and you will return. I wonder how long it feels to you. SORE AND TIRED, I bet!!!!!!!!
    Love to you.

I am trying to relax each day some. Today I have nothing to do for the rest of the day. I chatted with some local kids about the bike, where I´ve been, where I´m going, etc.
