A 7th Wonder of the World

Zambia- Victoria Falls, October 31st

Victoria Falls brings out the ooooohhhs and ahhhs of even a novice. A million gallons of water flow down per second, it is only rivaled by the water falls in Venezuala and from the literature it makes Niagara look like a sprinkle.

I ventured long and far to see the might Victoria even though the locals said there was no water. No Water, how ridiculous.....it's Victoria Falls, 1.7 Kilometers of Falls that stretch over 2 countries.

I, along with many other tourists approach the park in high anticipation of the mighty Victoria. Within minutes of entry we are presented with black rock as far as the eye could see. Black Rock for almost 1.5 kilometers, Black rock covering 2 countries.....Black rock that is Victoria Falls, Victoria Falls Black Rock with NO WATER!

Not even a drop of water in Zambia's mighty Victoria Falls!

(The black rock behind me should be a vast rush of water. In fact during the rainy seasons, raincoats are required. The water you see in the far background is in Zimbabwe and is a far walk from where the falls climb started.)
