Written Journal - October 12th - Amboseli...Kenya

Our driver warned us about the elephant but I never thought I would see him...
even if he did leave his mark around the camp. At 6:30 AM, before I even woke up, I could hear the discussion by the campfire, the rustling of birds and I was summoned to leave the tent. The elephant was here!

I jumped for my camera, the locals climb the tree and the driver opened the doors to the jeep and started the car...breakfast would have to wait this morning.

As I handed off my camera and walked a little closer the driver said, if he comes this way...jump in the jeep......
