I had my two month travel anniversary yesterday and to some surprise it brings me to my starting point of beautiful Istanbul. It was upon my return from Istanbul in March that I was told my job was eliminated and after some rough moments of travel over the last few months, it is the kindness in Istanbul that will hopefully re-afirm the journey to come.

Two months...one lost passport, one ambulance ride and many questioning moments along the way and here I am again, where it all started.

Istanbul is a different city this time, the summer air is warm where last time the winter air was significantly different. Now there are tourist and the hussle of new business surrounding me, a tea garden open down the street and green trees abound.

The one thing that has not changed is the kindness of the people. It has been a wonderful welcome from the Balkin coldness, I just departed.

It is good to be back with the overflowing tea and the kind gestures of the Turkish people.
