Wuhan & The Pathways Hostel
Wuhan is the first city in China where I have literally seen mounds of garbage in the streets of the poor section of town. Now before you jump to conclusions, No, my hostel was not in the slums this time! haha.
YHA Pathways is a fairly new hostel. I’m guessing they opened around 2005 by the writing on the walls. It’s a really funky place to stay and I can see it as being very popular during the high season. The rooms were quite large, and homey. There’s a coffee bar at reception, a huge bar in the back and a great menu. PLUS the staff speak really good English!
I wish I had more time, as I would have liked to hang-out, relax and explore this very dirty city a little bit. However it’ll have to wait for my next trip to China.
