After retirement and 4 years of backpacking the world, I moved to Oaxaca Mexico in June 2006 to find myself in the middle of a teacher strike and popular uprising. I am on my way at the end of Sept 2009 to Las Vegas to see one son there, to Oregon and then Hong Kong to see one son and Thailand to see another son who lives there with his Thai wife. Then back to Oaxaca in the spring.
After returning home from the first year-long journey in 2003, Bob traveled again for a couple months to Buenos Aires Argentina, through the fjiords of Chile and into Uraguay.
