"Yes, we have been slack bloggers"

Author: Natalie 6/8/05
Well we have been a bit quiet on the travel blog scene over the last few weeks so sorry to our readers.
There has been a number of reasons for this, including getting our new bluetooth keyboard to work and the cost of uploading data from our PDA in the UK.

I will backdate our new posts so you can get an idea of what we did when. I am still having difficulty uploading photos mainly due to the expence, time and finding the right computer but I think I should be able to start getting a few up on our site.

If you would like an email notification when we post a new entry, send me your email address and I will see if I can set it up. Our email address is damien_natalie@yahoo.com.au Alternativly, you may be able to set up a notification yourself from our Boots 'n All web page.

So now I have our keyboard in action and I don't have to type with the PDA thumb pad or tap in letters with the stylus, look out of more regular blogs.

Post script: mmm, it is now the 16/9 and I wrote this over a month ago. So I'm not sure how regular our updates will be but we will try.

It was nice to have you here.
We met in London and talked for only a few hours but now we got to know you better and we not only think: we have met these nice australien people, but you are realy nice people. We learned a lot about your (and our) way of living and we have had a nice time with you.
thank you, maybe we will see you once.

Well - what a surprise to read that there has been - at last - some 'blogging' going on!! Damien must have been on his best behaviour with Pia & Eva for them to write such nice things about him!! Kind of reminds me of the time of Nat's. 21st. birthday party - when he WILLINGLY peeled a 40kg. bag of potatoes for the occasion - I'm pretty sure it was just to impress his future mother-in-law - well - it must have worked - cos he's still my FAVOURTIE son-in -law- EXCEPT for the fact that he was not around last weekend when we had Possies 21st. party and all these spuds to peel - and had my daughter galavanting around the world and not being here for the big occasion and being able to hear all the nice things Poss said about her older sister!! Instead - he has had these 'figments' of imagination about 'Nessie'!! - well I think if it's not from the left over aromas of the east it's must be the aromas of the distilleries of Scotch that abound in Scotland !!! - EVERYONE knows that nessie is just a good ploy to get you TOURISTS in!! - even if you did go to the ORIGINAL museum!! Ha Ha!!! - got you in!! Oh Well - I suppose you can say you have experienced Nessie - so will be a good story for the grand kids!!
Just having heard that you are in Holland - and thanks for the phone call - even if it did take a box of tissues before I stopped crying - because it's a pretty emiational time for a mother when their children turn 21 blah! blah!!!!!!!! anyway - just wondering if you have been able to do any ' tip toeing thru the tulips????- or are they all finished??
anyway - thanks for the birthday wishes - the party went of well and you missed a great weekend and you should have been here!! (hope you are feeling sorry that you wern't !!) and we look forward to more Blogs - but I don't think I'll hold my breath this time - I was getting rather blue in the face.!!!
Much love to you both - and take care
Mum xxxxxxxxxx

This is a test. Some people have had trouble posting comments so I better learn how to do it myself. Nat

This is fun: like chat-box
There were no tulips in Holland this time of year. So you have to come back in May.
Damien tried to tell us the kangaroos would give you a hug when you come to Australie....
And about Nessie: he showed us a picture of a sock telling us it was Nessie......
40 kilo's of potatoes!!!!
Well, he dit repear my vacuum-cleaner.
And I WON THE GAME FOUR-AT-A-ROW!!!!!
