April 18, 2005Constitution
Constitution is one of the main rail terminal stations. It´s at the south end of the Central city, where it connects with several buses as well as the southern terminal of the Subte´s Linea C, which runs north through the central city and terminates at another main rail terminal station, Retiro. As for the area around Constitution, think the Port Authority - As for me, I´m doing OK - I´m was lucky enough to get an Urban Planning student as my Spanish teacher, so I´m learning a lot about the city. Folks are nice here, and there´s been a lot of going out and such (partially because it´s so cheap) - I was out dancing until 6 in the morning for the first time in quite a while. My Spanish has gotten a bit better, but I´ve discovered I´ve really got to work on my accent. I´m nearly incomprehensible even to the Americans. I took a beginning Tango class, which I dug - I´m going back for the advanced lessons next week. I´ll let you know how it goes. Comments
