A new found love for acapella groups, late night stand up comedy, a cook off iron chef style, non stop food and ice cream, broadway style shows, and lets not forget the wonderful sun. The first night we tried our luck at the casino but of course without the swine flu I was back to my unlucky ways. By the second night Max was taking tips from my mom and giving me money to go else where, and not surprisingly thats when he hit it big. Onboard we also celebrated our fake 6th year wedding anniversary complete with a singing group of waiters and a cake with candles. The last nights dinner I decided on the chicken and for those of you that don’t know me, I am not a chicken person, but this was the best chicken of my life. I was the only one in the group that did not need to take medicine for being sea sick.

Embarking on the Cruise

I was not intentionally without the blackberry but ended up forgetting it in the car before we left. It was never missed and I rather enjoyed the peace and quit of no phone calls, and bbm going off every five minutes. After being asked for a large tip for our bags safely getting onto the ship we quickly breezed through security soon to be stopped at the check-in counter to be hassled about Kim’s 3o year old resident alien card. After showing everything from passports to marriage licenses we were able to board the ship. We sipped mimosas as we headed to explore and eat… which pretty much sums up the cruise.

Thanks to my incredible priceline negotiating skills were able to stay at a hotel with an amazing view, great shopping and a state of the art workout room. Even though Max was the only one that got any use out of the gym, Kim was able to catch up on some news and I was able to take in the city lights.
