After the jungle tour, I went back to Cusco for a night. It was pretty uneventful. Just bought a flight to Arequipa and went to the Inka musuem.

So I caught a flight to Arequipa, as I was just too lazy to take the bus. It was a bit late going out of Cusco.

When we got our luggage, I met a South African girl named Sue, who shared a taxi ride to the center with me. I tried for one hostel, which is now an empty building, and she was trying for another. I walked to La Reyna, where I was able to get a dorm room. Sue ended up being there as well, since her first choice was fully booked. We went and bought tickets for the 2 day, 1 night Colca Canyon tour, and hung out. Our dinner consisted of cakes at a cafe, where we met an English girl on her gap year - volunteering in Huancayo.
