Well, as luck would have it, I stood in line Sat evening to buy a ticket for the Nariz del Diablo train. There was quite a queue in front of me. We found out that the train was not going to run on Sunday. Rather, a bus would go to Alausi and then do a few switchbacks. Thats no fun! Well if I had know that sooner, I would have left Riobamba as it really held nothing for me, and I paid too much for accommadations!!
