I promised my sister a trip for her birthday. Her birthday was March. But since we prefer not to share the beach with the same city folks we planned our vacation on an off-season.

Hence, in mid-July, we will be flying off to Bohol and momentarily spare ourselves from the deadlines and the project lists. We are going to stay in Panglao Island, in a resort called Ananyana. I have made inquiries by email and they have been very prompt and efficient. I already have the package costs and am just waiting for the paycheck to come in.

Staying in Ananyana is a break from my usual no-frills beach trips. It's on the other end of the spectrum. But then, it's the middle of the year, with no major holiday or official long weekends in sight. I need the pause to catch my second wind.

Because when I get back from the beach, the 2005 planning season will begin.
