November 06, 2004David, Alan, Mark and Mully
Well the lads felt like they were at home the Victorian weather rained the whole time they were here. They have been in Australia for 6 days now and it has rained every day for them, poor lads. We even had to BBQ inside as it was to wet to sit outside, I had to cook with the umbrella over the hotplate of the BBQ so it would not get wet. We then headed to the local pub where we had beers and played pool till about 1.30 am when rebecca taxied us home. They headed to lakes Enterance on the first day here while I was still at work and then on my day off we Went to Lake Glenmaggie and to the Tarra Bulga National Park and went for a walk through the rain forest and then stopped in at Jack Ryan's Irish Bar in Sale so they could get a Pint of beer since Victoria only has Pots ( half Pints). David caught the bus to Nowra to see his lady while Alan, Mark and Mully stayed another night we had Pizza and Beers. The Lads left this morning and it was still raining they are headed to Griffith New South Wales to see Alan's step brother and then to meet up with David in Nowra. They will have a good drive on the Alpine Highway but it will take them about 8-9 hours to get there. I look forward to then stopping off for a night on there way back to Melbourne later in the Month. Comments
