November 04, 2004Information and the English lads
Well Chris from Teach in China continues to impress with the amount of information that he keeps sending me and the constant assurance that he gives us that all will be well in Wuhan. He has said that it will be no trouble finding Rebecca and I a school to work at together and also said that its acceptable to wear shorts to school in summer as long as its neat casual dresss, which was what was putting me off Wuhan was the heat and having to wear long pants. He assured me that the weather is not always 35 degree's in Summer which is great. On another note I had 4 English visitors rock up to my house last night, David, Allan, Mully and Mark which was good as the lads arrived with a slab of Victorian Bitter stubbies to drink. Tonight I am going to cook the Lads their first Australian BBQ since arriving on Monday night from Manchester and then we will head to the pub where Rebecca works for some beer and pool luckily I have tomorrow off. They are staying till Saturday and then heading to Wagga Wagga to see Alan's step brother, It was really good catching up with David and Allan especially as I spent a bit of time with them in St Helans England in 1999.
