Wuhan is the capital of Hubei Provence in central China
It had a population of over 7.5 million people
Its the 3rd Largest city in China
It used to be 3 towns that are now one. The towns are Hankou, Hanyang and wuchang
Its on the banks of the Yangzi River up stream from the Three Gorges Dam
Its called one of the three furnaces of China because its hot in summer average of around 30 degree's. (not sure I will like that hopefully there is airconditioning)
Wuhan is also a hub for travellers with lots of buses and trains travelling from the North to south of the country stopping here.
Its about 7 hours by train to Shanghai and 12 hours to Beijing
