Chillin!

Wanaka was lovely - didn't do anything for 3 days! Just what we needed - had acouple of walks down by the beautiful lake and a look round the shops. Went to the pub a couple of times and watched a couple of films - all good.

Then to queenstown! We stopped off on the way to see puzzleworld, which was needless to say puzzling! There was a room that made you look like a hobit or a giant depending on which corner you stood in and one that was one a very weird slant and had us all falling over! The maze was the best though and me and the boys beat the girls to the end no problem!

Queenstown is the busiest New Zealand town we've been to so far and to be honest its still not that busy! Theres more shops and more bars but if you cant do any more adventure sports theres not all that much to do in the day!

Have to admit though i don't think theres anywhere else in the world where you can be looking out at the town from a british pub to see the mountains looming in the background and a skydiver looping his through it all!

We got in to town and settled in a bit then headed out to see the midnight showing of Star Wars! Actually ended up being good but i wasn't too happy queuing for an hour to get in just so they could have the gl;ory of being the first in the world to see it - but hey! it was another experience!

Then came Murrays birthday - a haze of drinking games, dancing and drinking cocktails from tea pots! Fun was had by all!

Next day though our heads were not exactly happy with us and due to the ice skating earlier in the day our legs weren't either!

Just been chilling ever since - we've got our last night out together tonight and luging before that ( sort of like go carting down a hill) then away to Christchurch and following that hello sunshine and Austrailia - bring it on!!!!

Laur, when you're bored again why not try a game of I Spy ? Failing that how about Charades ? all good fun for youngsters among the smoking jackets and twinsets of the New Zealand in-crowd ( and guaranteed to give you less of a hangover ).

My, how strange you all must appear to each other. You're probably feeling like the Martians in the advert for Cadbury's Smash. Still people have always wanted to know what the future holds, just stay away from their youth or they won't let your bus stop in their lovely, quaint little towns...

That said, do you think they'll have tonights Champions League final on their goggle boxes ?

COME ON YOU REDS!

Aryt laur, Iv finali sat down to write to you!! I’m usin the laptop, its class! Sounds like your havin a great time, especially having sky dived, that’s one thing you can tick off your list of things to do in life.

Not sure whether or not you knew about this, but beka (from next door) has moved back to america, she left at quarter to 8 this mornin, it was ded sad, but I will see her again some time in life, we’ve all got her address, apparently where shes moving to next to palm springs, is full of mexicans! She’s got a pool in the back garden, a big house…. the lot, must have cost tony a bomb! She was actually allowed out for a few days before she left, and last night I rented a film and got some sweets, so we could just chill and give her one last good night, BUT…… she had an argument with paula, and wasn’t allowed round for hours. I went mad, that’s so horrible I think, to keep her in on her last night, me and jeni nocked round to try and persuade tony or paula to let her out, but they both walked past the door a few times, when beka came to the door, I heard paula say ‘ do you think I care if your friends think im a bitch, well I don’t ’ She’s just horrible. On a good note, shes gona write to us, and we will defo keep in touch. Good luck to her.

The postcard you sent in the envelope has come this morning, we havnt had any for ages, so im guessing this is faster than just being on its own, just as you said! The weather here is great, warm and sunny, perfect to just sun bathe and chill, chillin is all I seem to do at the mo! Bungee-jumping sheep?!? Sounds crazy, some of the the things you must have done and seen now, most people wont ever do!

Everyone misses ya, cant wait to see ya, only 3 weeks until your home, countin the days!

It’s been so hard to write in full words in this letter thing, am so used to writing short words on the computer!

Look forward to seein ya soon, love you miss you

Hey missy,

How's it hangin?? Haven't you just been the one who does absolutely everything possible - many things you can tick off the list!!

No real news, moving to Manchester at the end of the week (5th June), so not long to go here in the Wirral. I'm gonna miss our little pub jaunts every night .... BUT, I will be back to welcome you home back into the coven, so rest assured, we will drink together again!!

Finally left work this Sunday (29th May), really chuffed, but really going to miss the people there, they were (mostly) all brilliant! They got me a really cool leaving present, a doll's doctoring kit (bit confused why!!), and The Bravery CD, which is amazing!

Haven't been in touch with Si & Em as much as I'd've liked, lost my phone about six weeks ago, so lost everyones numbers, shame. They're really nice people, and I don't want them to think I've been ignoring them!

By the way, I got an invite to a Wedding at the beginning of August, which you are also cordially invited to! Two people from work are getting hitched, and you've really got to meet them, they're so nice. Really can't believe how sad I am to leave the place, to be honest, very strange.

Mat and Jeanette have moved house at last, they're now living in West Kirkby, in a lovely big house about 10mins from the beach - bliss!! Jac's doing great, he's nearly crawling, definitely talking (his own language!), and battering the hell out of everything he can reach (including us) with wooden spoons!! FUN AND GAMES!!

Might have another little job on the side, lecturing students from Chester College in the art of Forensics, starts in September, and the bloke leading the course knows that I've obviously got other committments (what with doing scary Medical things), so he said that I won't have to get too involved, and he'll pay me the going rate for visiting lecturers (poss £500 a day .... good god!!!). Yay - beats a part-time McJob, really .... !

Hope you're still loving every moment of it, REALLY CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AND CATCH UP ON EVERYTHING!! Not long to go now (sorry, that must be really depressing for you to think that you'll have to stop travelling soon!)

Miss you,
