In my last post I said it was the end.
But that wasn’t enough for me.
It may be the end of my travels around Europe and the world for the moment, but it’s not the end.
Escaping Australia.
This is my new home, a place to talk about all the things that I couldn’t put in this travel blog. I place to find out how to escape from the real world or escape from wherever it is you have found yourself stuck in.
It is a place to find out how not to get a real job, how to start travelling today and a place where you find out how not to look like an idiot when travelling.
So come and escape.

The time has come.
This story is over. After the Swiss Alps there was really nothing to report on the rest of that Contiki trip and I need to move on. It has happened almost a year ago now and I need to keep going with my life, I don’t regret going though it wasn’t the most fun I have had travelling.
So after 144 posts and over 25,000 hits I’m moving to a new home. Bootsnall has been great and I will be popping over here occassionally but to read about my current adventures I will be over at World Wanderings and AC.
Thanks for reading and I hope to see you over there if not on the road somewhere.

Today was the day. My last day in London. I think I could cry. Am ignoring the fact that I will be back in London in approximately 32 days. It's the principle of the matter, anyway after those ...

I had to talk to Aunty today. I think we both would have rather do anything else. It was her birthday and I was told, not asked. How rude. That I would call them down in Rome and ...

It was time, we were ready. We were heading out to the city, the fact that we were already in the city was ignored, we were ready to hit the streets and do ... something.
As usual we had ...

29th August 2008
Later that day.
I was at Stonehenge. It was a pile of rocks. They were slightly smaller than I thought. There was a huge roundabout sort of going around it.
It was beautiful.
The whole place we have travelled through was ...

It was finally time. I was going to see STONEHENGE! It has taken me four years to get here.
I would have already done this four years ago, the last time I was here. But bloody Evan and Evans. Please let ...

Okay I can admit it I'm a huge Python fan. This time admitting your a Python fan isn't something to be ashamed of, not like admitting your a Trekkie.

That was what I was on today. A duck. Quack, quack.
Mum thought it would be fun so I went along with it. Famous last words usually, but for once this actually turned out alright. This ...
