Digging a well gone horribly horribly wrong, or right
Monday, November 12th, 2007I’mmmmmmmm back.
I know I haven’t written in ages, I wish I could say that I was doing something exciting and breathtaking, but the simple fact is that I have been incredibly lazy.
So lazy in fact that I can’t even think of a good story to cover up the fact that I haven’t been writing in awhile.
Okay when I last left you people out in cyber land I had just gotten into the Terracotta Warriers.
And let me tell you wow. Just wow.
There are three pits in the place, and this place is huge it’s a big complex that surrounded by the biggests mountains I have ever seen, and Pit 1 we went into is the largest one, the most photographed one as well.
Okay I’m not sure if everyone’s knows this but they are still excavating the damn thing. Okay raise your hands if you didn’t know that.
*Looks around and realises that my hand is the only one in the air*
Really am I the only one that didn’t know that they hadn’t finished exvacting the thing, I mean in my defense they found the thing over thirty years ago.
Anyway the fact is the normal photos that are shown of the warriers is only like a quarter of the huge complex of the warriers.
It was strange when you first walked in it was like this huge ice skating ring, very dark, you walk to the edge of the platform and then BAM it’s right there in front of me. Talk about surreal.
I mean there was even signs which explained the different parts of the wall, there was even a cute little sign that said where the orignal well was going to be built and it’s so strange that the well was exactly where the start of the warriors where.
I think that would definately rate as a Karma moment.
