Well I'm off to Cairo for a little while anyhow.......this trip hasn't been what I was hoping for but it's not too late to still make another. I've learned from mistakes, but the good news is I have almost faxed in my payment and I'm almost off. It's expensive to fly but hopefully cheap when I get there. I guess this is worth all the hard work and stress and I can say, next time, whenever that will be, I'll do certain things differently. But at least I'm finally going, and I can't say what it will be like before I get there but twelve days is a lot. after this, Los Angeles? Philly? dunno.......but I'm almost free. So....one ticket is cheaper and arrives in Cairo at 1Am. Not sure I want that. The other arrives at a reasonable hour but is more expensive, and also I get one more day. The former, however, stops off in Amsterdam where I've never been and I have 7 hours to kill there. Why not see Amsterdam? Maybe I can get another flight? Not sure where to go from here.
And a guy wrote me from Jerusalem, who knows the guy I stayed with in Berlin, and he offered me to stay at his place. So I get to see Egypt and Israel for the first time in my life....and Tel Basta. Yeah, it's worth it. And I'll spend time in Amsterdam. Hell, for a $100 fee to change ticket maybe I'll spend time in Amsterdam. Hmmm..........
