are so weird. It's more expensive to fly directly to Zurich than to go to Berlin connecting at Zurich. Makes no sense.
And tix to Athens are very expensive .....just last night I found cheap one way tix there but lost the link......not smart.
On a bright note, that $60 I reported missing in Berlin showed up.....fell out of my wallet and it was actually $80 and Garrett pointed to it on the floor. He didn't pocket the money himself.....yes, mark of a decent person.
This is hard work.....finding tickets. I've been all over the place on the web, and I really wonder what it was like in the pre-Internet days. Ultimately I'm trying to get to Cairo and one way not round trip but it's far easier to do r/t but........It'll work out eventually. It's cheaper to go to London first then get a flight from there to Athens. And just to fly from Athens to Cairo is crazily expensive, hundreds of dollars, and Cairo is very close. So I found a site that takes requests and I'm waiting to hear. My other option is to travel overland from Europe, but that's the long way around. Still, I'll be seeing a lot but it will definitely be roughing it.
