Bristol Day 2 and 3

So its been a while since I updated. I may as well finish posting about Our wonderful trip to Bristol. And now I have pictures to add to it!

On the second day we were there it rained far too much. We had originally intended to go to Bath but decided thanks to the weather, distance and time restraints it would be best to go see it some other time. On this day we went inside Bristol Cathedral. This single place made the entire trip worth going for.

On our last day we took our time eating and just wandering through the city before eventually we made our way to the train station. Its small. Just a shop and the trains. The outside is beautiful though and definitely worth a look. On our way to the train station we came across a duck swimming along. I said went ooo a duck, but when we looked closely we saw it was struggling with something. I thought maybe a snake or a fish. But my husband tells me that England does have eels. Either way that creature put up a hell of a fight. The two of us stood there, each of us cheering for the two sides until eventually the duck won. However even after it had swallowed the creature it was choking and you could see it moving in the ducks neck. We sat outside of the train station for a long while chatting and trying to hide from the sun until we eventually decided to go to the airport.

Overall the trip was a success. We had Mexican, we saw old stuff and we had Cherry Coke. We may have missed out on a few of the sights but we do plan on flying through Bristol again, next time perhaps to go to Cardiff. I’m sure we will spend a night there again sometime.
