the duplex

On saturday I had a lazy day. i just relaxed and watched CNN. I went to Indiana Cafe with a few people for dinner. it was pretty good. I love their chicken quasadilla and fries. What is interesting about their menu is that they have the option of regular french fries, or they have american fries. So i ordered american fries thinking i would get fries similar to what you get at mcdonalds. Nope, I was wrong. I got these seasoned potatoe wedges which were super good,

so i was happy. But i thought that was weird that they were called "american fries". Lindsey and I had people over to our room again to have a few drinks before we go out. We do this because drinks at bars in paris are super expensive, they cost like 14 dollars. at 11:30pm we went to a club called the Duplex. It was really fun. I have to recommend it to anyone who comes to paris. It is a huge club by the arc de triumph. it costs 20 euro to get in, but it is totally worth it. It is huge it has like 4 rooms of music and a huge dance floor. Each room had a huge floor for dancing and has different music in each room. The biggest room plays techno and has a stage with poles to dance on. It was a really fun night i went with about 10 of the students in my class. I met a really cute australian too. The only thing that sucked was that monica gave michelle ger ticket for the coat check and michelle left without giving it back. So at like 4:30am we had to call michelle and have her read the number of the ticket and then deal with the mean coat check ladies to get her purse and coat back. It was a really fun night though. Sunday I didnt do much. I mostly relaxed and walked aroun montparnasse. I had a really good chicken pizza for lunch/dinner. Today (monday) I am going to the middle ages museum and then to the eiffel tower later if the weather gets better.
