May 31, 2005notre dame
So today I had class then we went to Notre Dame. It was so touristy. Our lecture was on the three portals and how they are gothic. I wanted to go up to the top to look out of the tower, but the line was like 200 people long, and I didnt feel like waiting. Im going to go back right when they open so i dont have to wait in line. After Notre Dame I went to a little cafe right across the street from the cathedral. I had the best french onion soup I have ever had. Oh my god, it was soooo expensive. I live in montparnasse right now, and it is not a touristy area, so they prices are normal. But at the cafe it was 6.5 for the soup and 5.5 for one glass of tap coke. It was ridiculous. Normally pop is around 3 euro for a glass. Im just updating this site now, and tonight we are going out to eat, then going to the lotus for happy hours drinks, then off to the moulin rouge which should be a lot of fun. Ill try to update again tomorrow or thursday. Comments
