May 28, 2005lazy day
Today I didnt do too much. I woke up and had that really good chinese food for lunch. It was awesome as always. I went to this little park about 4 blocks away from my hotel and read for most of the afternoon. It was really nice out, like 75 and sunny. For dinner we wanted to go to that same italian place, but they didn't open til 7 so we had to settle for some little cafe. The food was pretty good though. I had steak frites, which is steak and fries. For anyone who is coming to france, ask for your steak well done. In the US I usually like my steak done medium. But here medium is raw, and well done is medium-medium rare. They wont cook it anymore than that. But my steak was good. A bunch of us went out to Happy Hour at this really cool bar called the Lotus. We had peach daquiris. They were really good and they only cost 4 euro which is super cheap for paris. Later we went out to a bar and had a few drinks, we went home pretty early though. Comments
