May 23, 2005busy day
Today I had a really busy day. I had class till 11:30, then I went to the University Cafeteria for lunch with everyone from my class. It was actually pretty good. I had chicken pizza, it was pretty good. After lunch I went to St. German des Pres for a lecture by my professor. After lecture I had French Culture class, it was pretty interesting. The teacher was somewhat obnoxious, he tried to start an argument with two of the girls in my class. Lindsey and Aberdeen are the only two that really know how to speak French in my class, and he kept asking us questions, so they would raise their hands because they were the only ones who knew the answer. Well after awhile when Lindsey would raise her hand he would make comments like "how about someone who doesn't know french". He also made fun of someone accent. He asked if anyone knew how to say something in French and when people answered he would be like "no, you say it like this". But all in all the class was interesting. After class I had dinner at this Chinese place that is right across the street from our hotel. It is really good. They have super good teryaki chicken and egg rolls. After dinner Lindsey and I went out to a pool bar and played pool with our new French friends David and Nicoli. It was a pretty busy, but fun day. Comments
