Wow, long time no update. Finals are over, meaning that summer is here! I'm finally entirely moved out of my campus apartment (and to my 3 wonderful roommates : I already miss you guys!!!!). So now I'm back home in small town USA with the fam until I leave for Costa Rica. I don't leave until June 18th. So Im just keeping myself busy until then by studying for GRE (which for some crazy reason i decided to take June 12th). Ive also been reading up on Costa Rica and talking to Jenna, the Costa Rica expert. What Ive learned....

-shake out all clothing, shoes and bed sheets before jumping in cuz apparently lots of little, and ok maybe some not so little, bugs, like to lurk in them...

-Be careful of leaving windows open: apparently certain people have been seen "fishing" in open windows for whatever they might be able to get ahold of.

-Only ride in "official" taxies...well duh.

-like in my host family's piso in Spain....no throwing toilet paper in the toilet. Messy situations and toilet overlflow could follow :-)

-many roads are one lane: ie- look out on bridges!

-and as Juan and me have discussed way too many times : Im going to try not to melt!! :-)

Anyways, hope that didnt bore anybody too sleep. I'm getting super excited and can't wait to get down there and start work!
