Immunity

The semester is winding down, meaning summer can't be far away. Sooo, with a summer in Costa Rica fast approaching, I decided it might be a good idea to pay a vist to, as its known on our campus, McKill me (aka the student health center). After telling the doc where exactly I would be going and what I'd be doing, I discovered that apparently, at least according to him, Costa Rica is country in which I could catch a number of different diseases, most with names that I am incapable of pronouncing, Shcista what? In the end I ended up the hepatitis A vaccine, the hepatitis B vaccine, yellow fever, and typhoid fever immunizatios just to name a few. To top it all off I got a presrciption for 80 anti-malaria tablets. Fun times.
