Days 36-39: Chillin’

As we mentioned in the previous entry, we found this terrific place to hang out: Agnes Water and the Town of 1770. We found out that the roads were only finished in October of 2004. Besides the trip on the HMS Vomit Comet, we spent some time walking around, hanging out at the beach, and mostly just relaxing.

The point where Lieutenant James Cook first stepped ashore (he was named captain until later) at what is now the Town of 1770.

We did some body surfing and Marcus tried to remember how to surf from his San Diego days. That other guy was scared for his life when he saw me heading his way.

Marcus had some serious coffee making withdrawl and convinced someone to let him take a pull at the espresso maker. Step aside!
