I admit, i havent posted in a long time. But just reading your blogs, talking on skype, and reading your emails makes me wonder what you're going to be like when you get home - i mean, i think you've changed a little. you've learned so much about other people and about yourself in the short time you've been there. i know you miss home and we really miss you, but arent you so happy you took advantage of this once in a lifetime experience? i wish i had that kind of courage. makes me kind of jealous - i'm happy where i am and about to start a family of my own, but will i ever be this adventurous? I hope so!

cant wait to see you soon!!

hi Kimmie, I do SO enjoy reading your blog. And looking at the pictures. The Thai people are mostly all so good looking--the girls are especially beautiful. The monkeys are like a page out of The Jungle Book by Kipling. As for the things that are true or that you truly know; I especially liked what you said about accepting people as they are rather than to wanting them to change to suit us. I might add, "Be kind". It doesn't cost you anything and every little kind act gets passed along. Listening is also important--you can learn a lot that way! I feel you are finding out that the people are pretty much the same all over--in my life I have met a lot of friendly and helpful "strangers". I can't believe it will only be a couple of weeks before you are back home. Uncle Matt told me that today they found out that Gigi's daughter's application for a visa has been approved. I know that Gigi must be very happy that she will now be able to visit--just think, she is Matt's step-daughter. That makes her your step-cousin, I guess!! It'll be fun to get to know her. Love lots, GMA
