April 24, 2005Jews in Thailand
I went to a Chabad Passover Sedar last night. There were over 200 people there and most were Israeli. I combed the room listening to hear if there were any English speakers but I didn't find any so I settled on a table full of men. Imagine that. It was a very festive, unruly and energetic sedar complete with matzoh balls. It was the first time I ever ended a sedar standing on chair. I think I will introduce that tradition at home. Comments
