In the North they call it Ho Chi Minh city. I metioned I was going to Ho Chi Minh city to someone and she corrected me and said Saigon. As it turns out, Saigon is still a district in Ho Chi Minh city. But I do think it is interesting that even a non Vietnamese speaking foreigner can pick up a little bit of the animosity that still exists between North and South. I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise considering the American civil war ended 150 years ago and we still our North/South rivalry. Still interesting though. I haven't gotten to speak to anyone about the war yet. I would really like to Comments
