MOTORBIKES
Back to pigs on bikes- I saw two pigs on a motorbike without the metal cage thing. Just tied and hung by their legs. I also saw one laying on the seat. I've often seen people transporting sheets of glass on their bikes. One person drives and the other holds a giant sheet of glass. I would not do that for any of you.

The best was the other day- I saw people trying to figure our how to strap a refridgerator to a motorbike. It's true that fridges here are a bit smaller, but this was a somewhat larger fridge. I wonder if they succeeded.

With all of the crazy driving in SEA, I had wondered why I had not seen any accidents and then I saw two! I woman on a bridge got up off the ground and limped toward her bike. She didn't look bloody, but she was definitely injured.

I also saw the vehicle aftermath of a head on truck collision.

INTERNET
The Internet places are always filled w/ people talking in chat rooms or instant msging. Or teenagers listening to music. They don't play game here like in Thailand.

RESTARAUNTS
I may have already shared this but I was reminded of it again this evening. It is not uncommon to be served the wrong thing in a restaurant and if you say something about it you may get a variety of reactions- they'll laugh at you, they'll take it back in a huff, they'll apologetically take it back.

It is also not uncommon for the restaurant to not have what you ordered. This wouldn't be a problem except that they often just don't bother to tell you. So after everyone else has been served and you are just sitting there, you ask.

"no have today"

Well, perhaps you could've told me that so that I could've ordered something else and not been forced to chew off a finger for sustenance.
