March 16, 2005Half Way!
I've been traveling for two months which marks the half way point of my trip! I feel good and am going strong even though I celebrated the milestone with one of the worst travel days I've ever had. Happily I am in Hoi An now I left the cold, foggy, rainy North for the warm sunny south. It took 15 hours in a bus but it was worth it. Prior to coming here I went to Halong Bay, Ninh-Binh and Cuc Phuong National Park. I have written much since my last post but don't happen to have it with me. I don't expect I will be updating anytime soon because the Internet in southern Vietnam is PAINFULLY slow. I mean 1993 dial up connection shared by your whole neighborhood slow. And, it gives you page can't be displayed messages in middle of everything. Also, Yahoo often doesn't work, so if you need to get in touch with me do so at my gmail address which is the same as yahoo except for the yahoo part. Comments
