Before we booked out jeep tour, we had consdiered doing the tour by motorbike. Marva and Laurel were both jazzed about the idea. I pointed out that it would be very cold and we didn't know the conditions of the road or what the weather would be like. Riding on a slick windy mountain road without a helmet ws probably not in anyone's best interst. They could've gone without me, but it was cheaper if all three of us went together. The next day when it hailed and snowed and we discovered that the road was unpaved in parts, everyone was happy to be in a jeep and not on a motorbike. Sometimes I'm overly cautious, but most of the time, I am just using good common sense. Unfortunately for you gentle reader, good common sense also serves to hinder really funny travel stories.
