February 08, 2005Greetings from Laos
Currently in Luang Prabang and heading north. Have a story to tell but haven't had the writing inspiration. Traveling with an Alaskan named Rick. He reminds me of my friend Ali which is of course a good thing! More later. Off for a bike ride around town and to the bus station. Comments
Hello Kim I have been following your travels as I am to be heading over that way on this comming Sunday the 13th for a several month stay... I am also from Alaska and am curious if your travel companion has the last name Belaog (nor sure of spelling) I live here in Juneau an had him as a college proff for Spanish a few years back. Anyways be safe and inform us all of the highlights so we may know what to plan for while there.... Kim- An Alaskan guy that reminds you of me....hmmmmm...is he hairy or something? Well I guess you will let us know later in the blog what you are referring too....there is a fairly large group of Persians...specifically from Kerman that live in Alaska and have been doing so since the great gold rush of 1873...maybe he is a relative- Sounds like you are having fun...take care-Ali Posted by: Ali on February 9, 2005 12:51 AM |
