February 02, 2005Street Fair
Chaing Mai has a night market that is frequented by tourists and after you've been back enough times, you realize that stuff is cheap because most of it is cheap. The real market comes on Sunday night. It spans blocks and blocks and has artists and street musicians and food and vendors. There are more locals then tourists. It is huge. It is the size of all of SF's street fairs combined. At least. They do it every Sunday. On Monday morning, everything is spotless. You would never guess what had happened the night before. Comments
