February 02, 2005The Solo Journey Begins
Tina and I parted ways yesterday. I was sad to see her go but I am also excited about my upcoming adventure. It is nice to have someone to travel with. The companionship, cost savings, safety and resourcefulness that comes with traveling with another just can't be matched. I'm glad I got to start my trip out with my friend. It alleviated that, "why did I decide to do this? I think I might vomit" feeling one gets before making a big change. I got to ease into it. The last few weeks have been a breezy holiday. Being comfortable in my environment and having had the opportunity to get into travel mode before heading off on my own was definitely great. And so it begins. Comments
