We went to a glass cooperative just outside of Xela. The working conditions were intense. The men who work there make 1 U.S. dollar a day to produce some amazing glassware that the company ships all over the world. The men lack googles to protect their eyes, and no one their had any gloves on. There was broken glass all over the small HEATED room.
