Bio
From Philly to Xela, and all that in between...
I was born in CT, and I left there when I was 12 to move out to Washington State. I stayed there for about 7 years, and when I was ready to go off to college, I signed up for a college completely over the Internet. So, I took my laptop and moved to Boston. Boston was not my city, but I stayed for three months, and then I moved to CT for three more months. Keep in mind, I am still in school via the Internet, oh and working full-time by the way. Then I decided that I needed to be back west, so I moved to Washington State.
But, I guess I forgot about the rainy and dreary days in Washington State. I had a good time, chilled with some old friends, but again, I needed to move. I can't explain why, I just am always seeking an adventure. I decided to move to chill Vermont. I lived there for two years! It is an amazing place, but yea, I moved again. I did spend some time in Italy, learning about the culture of southern Italians.
I did not move from VT until I traveled back west for my college graduation. I did not even know where the campus was, but I found my way ok. It shouldn't surprise you that I have travelled across the country six times, and I own a 1971 Volkswagon Bus.
Anyway, I got into graduate school at UPENN, and I am getting my Masters in Social Work. I had to live in Philadelphia for one year, and since I am here for another two years, I am booking it this summer.
My sister and I are traveling to Guatemala for one month to study Spanish. We are actually living with some Guatemalans for one month while we study. I plan on hiking, learning how to cool native dishes, learning how to salsa dance, and make some good friends. I have another month in Latin America, and this part is really open right now what my sister and I plan on doing.
