Hi my name is Kevin. 6 years ago, I moved to Holland to practice Chiropractic. I worked in the clinic "Chiropractie Rugcentrum", under a very enthusiastic doctor by the by the name of Arie. Dr. Arie taught and gave me the opportunity to help many people. Working along side us was a very enthusistic and talented staff (mijn balie meisjes) who helped make my time in Holland very gratifying. While in Holland, I was blessed to have had the chance to make some very close (hopefully life long) friends; Eric, Stefan, Glenn, Dana, I, Angelique, Willem-Jan, Helga, Claudia, Robert, Nicole, Robert, Monique, Audrey just to name a few. But there was one person who made the biggest impact on my life................
her name was Diana. She was my girlfriend for 4 1/2 years. If it wasn't for Diana, I would have come home after my best friend Brian death in Dec. 1999 (Brian was my best friend from America, he was also a practicing Chiropractor) She has been an intrical part of my life, and I love her for that. Diana was also the person responsible for my dream of making a world trip. Unfortunately, since June 2004 we split up, but my heart remains with her. I have since past asked her to join me on my trip, which she had declined, understandably. I still pray that one day things will work out between us.
There are many reasons why I decided to take this trip. One reason is the desire to see the world and meet its inhabitants. I remember thinking one day, “How could one culture or person accurately make judgements about another culture, without ever being there to experience it?” I want to experience a different way of life!
Another reason is the fact that it’s a challenge. If someone says that I “can’t” do something I really want to do, then I am going to do my best to prove them wrong! Some of my friends laughed at my idea of a world trip, they also laughed at me when I told them I wanted to move to Holland. I stayed there almost 6 years!
The most dominant reason that sticks out in my head is a personal one. I have never had a real chance to travel. I mean the kind of travelling that the normal everyday "couch potato" only dreams about. I want to be able to wake up and say, "Ok Kev, where to today!" I want to make my own decisions, and not have to worry about how that’s going to affect anybody else. I feel that by taking this trip, I will become a more secure person and hopefully learn more of what really drives me in life. I want to grow mentally, physically and most importantly spiritually!
So............I just quit my job, left my patients and friends, moved back from Europe and I'm about to full-fill a dream....a trip around the world! My goal.....to catch a fish in every country I travel to and enjoy!!!!!View image.

Ik weet alleen niet of ik ook wel in t nederlands tegen je moet praten aangezien ik zelf nu ook voor een jaartje in de UK in Plymouth aan t studeren ben! (Je vertelde dat ze hier ook chiropractie studeerden? kan ik misschien een gratis behandeling krijgen! haha)

Ik had al lang niet meer op je site gekeken en volg nu maar je nieuwe site. Ik ben nog steeds benieuwd hoe het met je gaat.
Ik wens je veel reisplezier in Australie en zal je site nu wat vaker bezoeken. Vanmorgen was ik in Heerlen en Dr. Schwartz begint al aardig Nederlands te spreken, maar ik mis je toch wel een beetje.

Ik hoop dat je een fantastische tijd zult hebben. Aan de foto's te zien ben je al goed begonnen. Het is een te gekke site met mooie foto's en commetaar.
