March 03, 2005Our Bluebird
It's official. We're the proud owners of a 1988 Nissan Bluebird. And best yet, it's an automatic (which for kt means she can actually drive, focusing only on the other side of the road thing...rather than a clutch, shifting etc) It's a poopy maroon color but the CD player makes up for it. I only had to drop $150 NZ dollars on the whole thing (which after we buy matching trucker hats and aviator sunglasses we'll be up to $175...haha). We're taking our first road trip tomorrow morning. Heading to Queenstown, where bungy is the word on the street. Our friend Brittany turns 21 Friday...what a way to ring in a new era. James is currently biking from Te Anau to Qtwn...should arrive in Qtwn tonight if the weather's good...otherwise tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully the sun will make its way to the mountains this weekend...seems to be missing from Dunedin. Alright gotta run...very excited though. later gators. Comments
