Himeji Castle is one of the true beauties of Japan. This Castle is the only remaining fully Wooden Castle left in Japan. Its beautiful white exterior is an amazing sight to be seen especially during Cherry Blossom in April every year.
This castle is a must visit. It is one of the few castles left in Japan that the interior hasn't been made to look more like a hotel rather than a castle. There are still many tools and weapons that were used inside the castle and in battle.

The grounds that surround the castle are also very beautiful and provide an excellent place to celebrate Hanami in Spring.

Kent & Amanda started their great overseas adventures from New Zealand in July 2003, heading to Japan to teach and also open up many travelling opportunities throughout Asia.
They spend most of their time in Osaka Japan but try in any possible chance to travel and experience the Greater Asia Region.
Who knows what the future holds for them? The world is the oyster of any traveller.
