February 16, 2005Prep Time Version 42
So I've done a lot of work to get ready for this trip. Just from doing this prep work, there are several times I've almost backed out of this. Now that the tickets are already paid for, that obviously isn't an option. Here is how i've been blowing all of my hard earned money. Vaccinations: Typhoid ($27) Tickets: Around-The-World Ticket ($3320) Rail Passes: Eurorail (around $500) Ship Passes: Cargo Ship Pass to cross the Sea of Japan ($199) International Cell Phone: Motorola V300 (phone for free, $22/month for Backpack: kelty coyote 4750 ($129) Digital Camera: Nikon Coolpix 3700 ($119 after awesome rebates) MP3 player: Creative 30 GB: 159 (after rebates) does anyone else get the idea that rebates are pretty awesome?
