Ship Passes: Cargo Ship Pass to cross the Sea of Japan ($199)
New Zealand Ferry ($60)

International Cell Phone: Motorola V300 (phone for free, $22/month for
service)

Backpack: kelty coyote 4750 ($129)

Digital Camera: Nikon Coolpix 3700 ($119 after awesome rebates)
SD 1 GB card: $69 after rebates

MP3 player: Creative 30 GB: 159 (after rebates)

does anyone else get the idea that rebates are pretty awesome?

god damn trips cost so much money huh?! oh well, at least I can sell my plasma and do psychology exams to make money when I get back. Or I'll finally do poster tour in the fall of 2006. Anyone want to be my poster partner?
