March 31, 2005Safe Arrival in Oz
Hello My Faithful Readers! I have arrived safely in Australia! My main impression so far is that it is much warmer, since we are in early fall now rather than early spring. I have now crossed the equator and entered the southern hemisphere! It is not too hot, though. I have managed to ride the perfect line of Spring/Fall weather. Gorgeous. Well I have actually been in this internet cafe a while because I had mounds of email. I want to get back out and explore a bit. I'll write more later when I have seen more of the city. Oh, one tip for the day - always fly north/south. You can travel for 13 hours and no jet lag! So if you live in California, like I do, I guess you will have to visit some random island in the South Pacific of the coast of S. America. Gotta be something in all that blue, right? Comments
Joni, I was away for a couple of days, staying with a friend who had surgery for a severely broken leg. It was great fun, being able to come home and take a trip with you. I loved hearing of your days in Japan. What wonderful pictures you paint with your words! I am looking forward to hearing of your days in Australia and New Zealand. Love and Kisses from me and CUJ. Hi Joni: So glad to hear you arrived safely in Australia. Enjoy your travels there..anxious to hear of your journey. I'm in Newport..clear as a bell with a beautiful view of Catalina. Love you..be safe. Auntie Nancy & Joe Posted by: Nancy & Joe on April 1, 2005 08:46 AMHi Joni! |
